About Us
From the Directors Desk
Tuesday Evening Hour is an artists’ non-profit slide-show program, whose mission is to expose works of the artists to the public.
Each Tuesday, we showcase a working artist, who prepares and presents a slide-show of their work. Our weekly program has been increasing in attendance and income. Who says we no longer need visual arts education from slide shows, because of TV, Internet and digital cameras?

This semester, we want to tell you we are watching rapid and permanent horse & buggy changes. Two years ago, we had one person who presented a DIGITAL disc of slides. Now we have ten artists presenting eight DIGITAL shows. The other twelve shows are regular Kodak 35mm slides, plus one MOVIE.

We are also letting you know that this is a technical change. Otherwise, the artists are the same, telling us about their wonderful adventures as they roam around the world. We're presenting 23 artists in 21 shows - the extra two artists are in two husband/wife teams.

Attendance averages 35-45 persons weekly. If you are interested in giving a show, please contact the Director, Marjorie Grimm, at (212) 964-3936. If you are a newcomer, please stop by to say hello. It will be a pleasure to meet you. No reservations needed – just arrive.

We look forward to seeing you there!

As ever, Marjorie Grimm, Director.
